 Steps

1. hit the coin with a hammer repetitively
2. continue hitting and rotating until it the mushroomed edge becomes roughly wider then a ring
3. drill a hole in the middle of the coin
4. place a bolt through it and screw the coin down against the bolt with a nut
5. place the bolt in the drill or drill press so that the coin spins
6.while the coin is spinning sand the flat areas out with 100 grit sand paper. Sand the face and the sides
7. once it is smooth go to 600 grit sand paper to smooth it of
8. drill the middle of the ring out
9. file away any burs or the inside or the ring and continue to widen the inside with a file
10. go over the inside of it with 100 grit sand paper then 600 grit
11. fasten the ring by the inside to a bar (i used electrical tape to make the ring tight against the bar
12. spin the ring in the drill or drill press and polish it off one last time.
13. if you have a polishing stone or higher grit paper then use it

14. behold the ring you built yourself
