how to make a paper catapult

this is a catapult i build out of paper. Its a very easy build, uses mostly household materials and works well. In this post i have step by step pictures of hour to make it or you can watch the video here.DSC00439To start off i rolled a sheet of paper around a large dowel. these pieces serve as the building blocks for the catapult so many will be needed

next comes making a small round piece large then the current cylinder and sliding that onto the base cylinder. Next the pivoting arm which rotates is glues onto the small rotation cylinder

cata2

next the base is expanded upon and the elastic band is added to the catapult and stretched over the arm

After that a few more structural braces are added to strengthen the design.  Then the elastic band is glued onto the catapult arm.

cata4 To finish it off a bottle cap is attached to the arm by glue

  1. Aw, this was a actually good post. In thought I’d like to put in writing like this in addition – taking time and actual effort to make a really good article… but what can I say… I procrastinate alot and by no means seem to obtain some thing accomplished.

  2. My spouse and I stumbled here from a different page and thought I might check things out. I like what I see so now i am following you. Look forward to looking over your web page yet again.

  3. My coder is trying to convince me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the costs. But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using WordPress on various websites for about a year and am nervous about switching to another platform. I have heard fantastic things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can import all my wordpress posts into it? Any kind of help would be really appreciated!
