How to make a solar charging station

In this tutorial i will be showing you how to build a solar phone charging station. The project is fairly inexpensive and can be done for under $20 dollars and is a great way to learn about electricity while also building a useful portable charger

Materials List

  • Foam board
  • 2 or 3 USB extension cables (available at the dollar store)
  • a couple feet of wire
  • 9 – 0.5 volt solar panels (available at joshbuilds.com for $1.00 a solar panel
  • or 9 – 1.5 volt solar panels from dollar store solar pot lights, available for $3.00 each
